SWEEP!!!!!!!

Well, looks like the Heat are advancing to the second round. The question now is who will they play and also will the Heat be "rusty" coming off such a long break. In previous years the Heat have been known to not be too sharp after coming off a sweep. They could either face the Nets or the Raptors in the next round. As of right now it's hard to decide who will win that series because it's going back and forth, but it will definitely be an advantage for the Heat. If the Nets come out of that series it will be tough for them because the heat with fresh legs and with their old age, they could be in trouble. But I'm not overlooking the Raptors because they are tough competitors. They could sneak in a couple of games and make their series a little more interesting.

Heat vs. Bobcats

The playoffs are finally here and the Heat are off to a great start. I think everyone know how this series is going to turn out. The Bobcats haven't beat the Heat since the "big 3" came to Miami. I'm not saying the Bobcats won't give the Heat a tough time because they have a lot of young talent on their team. Their point guard Kemba Walker is very talented and have the ability to go off at any time. But he doesn't have much help besides Al jefferson who is now injured at the time but is still trying to play. In game 2 last night Kemba Walker actually gave the Bobcats a chance to win the game but Lebron hit two clutch free throws at the end of the game and Wade had a great defensive play to get a steal. I feel like the Bobcats should enjoy the experience while they have the opportunity to and just learn for future experience. Also Lebron is still on his scoring tear against the Bobcats. In a game earlier in the season Lebron recorded his career high of 61 points. In game 1 he had 27 points and in last nights game  he recorded 32 points. He finish this series averaging 30 points or more.

Playoffs are approaching

The Miami have took the lead for the East number one spot from Indiana pacers. This is the fist time this season that they will be number one in the east. Their lead is very slim, if they lose just one game and the Pacers win they could take the number one spot. I personally think that the Heat won't lose the number spot because the know how much that could help them in the playoffs. Also whoever is the number one spot they have home court advantage in the conference finals, which most likely the Heat would. The Heat are a great team when they play at home, they only lose six games at home this year. That is a very could home record to have in the NBA. This could be the last season we see the big 3 together being it that Lebron is reaching free agency, but I think if they win or at least get to the finals again then we would see plenty more of the big 3. I'm pretty sure all of the Heat fans would not like to see them break up. This is one of the best teams the Heat has ever had if not the best. So it would be a sad thing seeing end without them winning another championship. If they play "Miami Heat basketball" they should not have a problem winning their third consecutive championship. It all start with the big 3.

Physical Game in Indy!!!!!!!!

The game between the Miami Heat and Pacers March 19 was the most physical game I've seen the Heat play in a while. That game was a good wake up call for both teams, because as of late they have been struggling and not playing up to the standards they have set for themselves in the previous years. After that game the Heat has been playing very well. They have gotten back to playing "Miami Heat basketball". Meaning they have gotten back to playing tough defense and flying around. They still are struggling a little on the offensive end but as long as they play defense they way they have then they should be alright. After seeing that game, even though the Heat lose, I don't feel like the Pacers can beat the Heat in a playoff series. Also I think Stephenson was out of line for talking trash to Dwayne Wade. How dare he talk trash to someone who has three rings and has also beat you last year in the playoffs. Don't get me wrong I love when players talk trash but you also need to show some respect when its due. There is nothing wrong with a friendly trash talking but when you go as far as taunting a player that is a very well respected for no reason then that's when you have to draw the line. Also it was a bad decision on Stephenson part because he already had one technical foul because of something dumb in the first half, so once he got the second technical foul he was ejected. All he had to do was just walk to his bench instead he opened up his mouth and got ejected from the game. All the great players never went too far when came to trash talking, they knew their limits. I guess that's what separates the good from the greats.

Heat Going Cold/ All Star weekend

The heat as of last have not been playing up to their championship standards. Lately I think the Heat are just cruising until the playoffs, because they have showed spurts of "great basketball." Personally I think they shouldn't wait till the playoffs to start playing hard because as they are cruising teams are getting better each game. Then they will find themselves in a situation they don't want to be in. Such as being a lower seed and playing someone like the Pacers the first round and potentially be knocked out the first round.

In more interesting news the Heat has three players going to the All Star game this year, held in New Orleans. This would be Lebron's 9th consecutive all-star game, Wade's 7th all-star appearance, and Bosh's 5th all-star appearance. All- star weekend is a fun time for the players as well as the fans. The players get to play with some of the guys they go up against each and they get to just relax and have fun. The fans get to enjoy the 3 point contest, skills challenge, and the most exciting the dunk contest. My favorite part about all-star weekend is the cool shoes the players come out with specially for the all-star game. I personally can't wait to see what shoes Lebron James and Kevin Durant have in store.

Pacer Hype

I feel like the hype about how the Indiana Pacers are undefeated is getting out of hand. People already starting to say that they are the best team in the east. Are we losing our minds? Did we forget there was a team that won the NBA championship last year, from the east, named the Heat. And also the Heat have the best player in the world named Lebron James. Don't get me wrong I think the Pacers are a great team but let's not get out of hand here, we all know who the real best of the east really is. The Heat have prove that when they really want to they could lock down any team in the league. So I think until the Pacers win the NBA championship, we shouldn't give them so much hype.

Lebron Return to Cleveland

Last week Lebron returned to Cleveland for his third time since going to the Heat. The fans were more nice this time compared to the last two times. The last two times Lebron returned to Cleveland the fans were harsh, every time he touched the ball they "boo" him, when he missed he missed a shot they "boo" him (he didn't miss that much). Then in the middle of the game a fan ran on the court and confronted Lebron. This year they barley even "boo" him, mainly because he played great. This time around they were more asking him to return next year because about to become a free agent.
